Executive Chef 3

to lead culinary operations at a vibrant university campus in

Western, NY.

In this role, you will bring innovation, creativity, and leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences that delight students, faculty, and guests every day.

As the Executive Chef, you will drive culinary excellence through menu innovation, team development, and operational efficiency — ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

What You'll Do

Lead and oversee all back-of-house culinary operations , including menu planning, recipe execution, food safety, and sanitation.

Train, mentor, and develop

culinary staff, fostering a positive and engaging team culture.

Champion

sustainability initiatives

and support

local sourcing and purchasing programs .

Ensure compliance with Sodexo’s culinary standards and client expectations.

Maintain strong

on-the-floor leadership presence

during service to ensure quality and consistency.

Manage

ordering, inventory, and food cost control

to achieve financial goals.

Partner with front-of-house teams to deliver a cohesive and memorable guest experience.

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
