Hadron Energy specializes in Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) development, design, and research based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the leading MMR developer, Hadron Energy is building factory-produced, transportable microreactors that provide 24/7 carbon-free power for data centers, government facilities, industrial sites, and remote communities. Our mission is to create a brighter, healthier, and more equitable energy future.
Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer – Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a
Thermal-Hydraulics Engineer , based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The position is ideal for candidates with extensive expertise in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and energy conversion systems who are passionate about designing and analyzing the next generation of safe, high-performance nuclear reactors.
You will work closely with our cross-functional team—including reactor physics, mechanical, and safety analysis engineers—to lead the
thermal design
and
fluid system analysis
for Hadron’s micro modular reactor. This role is central to modeling and verifying the reactor's heat transport systems, core cooling mechanisms, and balance-of-plant operations under both steady-state and transient conditions.
