We’re seeking a
Tax Director
to lead and grow the Bay Area tax practice for a
progressive, growth-focused accounting group
that’s redefining how firms scale and deliver exceptional client service.
This is a
high-impact leadership role
overseeing tax strategy, client relationships, and team development across multiple partner firms in Northern California. You’ll play a key part in expanding capabilities, driving growth, and shaping the future of an integrated tax platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and expand the Bay Area tax practice, driving growth and operational excellence
Deliver high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurs, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals
Serve as a strategic advisor on complex matters such as structuring, transactions, and planning opportunities
Collaborate with partner firms to unify processes, elevate service quality, and leverage technology
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and innovation
Work with leadership to implement data, analytics, and AI-driven improvements across the platform
Qualifications
Active
CPA license
required
10+ years
of progressive experience in business taxation (public accounting background preferred)
Proven record in
leading client engagements
and
growing a tax practice
Expertise in
corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
Strong leadership, communication, and client advisory skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environment
