Director, Government Affairs

Washington, D.C., United States A Day in the Life: This role is based in Washington, D.C. and is focused on influencing and monitoring federal policies for the North America region. The position requires engaging with government officials on key issues impacting Bunge’s business, interacting with industry associations and stakeholder groups, and providing thought leadership and detailed analysis to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities
Federal affairs lobbying Manage key industry & stakeholder group relationships Contribute to the government affairs strategy development Provide detailed analysis of policy developments to internal stakeholders Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required 12+ years of experience in Public Policy/Government Affairs/Government Extensive understanding of Congressional process & administrative rule‑making process Proven track record of navigating complex public policy issues and achieving measurable progress Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of global food and agribusiness industries a plus Understanding of agriculture and energy sector intersection a plus Domestic travel up to 15% of the time Compensation
Base salary range: $156,800 – $196,000 annually. Eligible for an annual incentive bonus. Benefits
