role at

eBay .

At eBay, we are changing the way the world shops and sells. Our platform empowers millions of buyers and sellers in more than 190 markets worldwide, and we are committed to pushing boundaries and reinventing the future of e‑commerce.

About eBay Live eBay Live is a new way to sell on eBay, where sellers and buyers interact live on video. Sellers build buyer trust, expand their customer base, and grow repeat business through consistent, engaging live streams. Buyers can view, chat, ask questions, give feedback, vote, and buy online during eBay Live selling.

About The Role We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Seller Success to build and operationalize solutions that reduce friction for our Live Sellers. In this individual‑contributor role you will act as an internal consultant, parachuting into broken workflows, running root‑cause analyses, and identifying scope of impact before designing and standing up fixes across multiple departments. You will build scalable, repeatable tooling such as SOPs, dashboards, and change‑management plans to ensure adoption at scale. Success will be measured by time‑to‑resolution, fix effectiveness, adoption at scale, and seller outcomes (GMV, retention, CSAT). You will also drive discovery for ambiguous problems, design program KPIs and guardrails, and make cross‑initiative tradeoffs to advance the business unit’s strategy.

What You Will Accomplish

Develop Seller Strategy: Derive insights from internal and external data sources, drive discovery for complex problems, and deliver executive‑level proposals and project roadmaps that prioritize issues and outline resource requirements.

Backlog Triage & Portfolio Management: Analyze friction points in our seller journey, size the impact, and recommend focus areas for issue resolution.

Parachute Problem‑Solving: Manage large, multi‑threaded programs end‑to‑end, lead focused engagements on top priorities, map root causes, define deliverables and timelines, set and track KPIs, and resolve program blockers.

Build the Solution: Design minimum‑viable fixes that are globally scalable across SOPs, templates, automation, and seller education & communications, aligning with seller strategy.

Operationalize Globally: Stand up programs, best practices, and trainings across resource models and org designs; localize to geography‑specific needs; drive adoption and change management; and hand off to steady‑state owners.

Influence & Unblock: Align and negotiate with cross‑functional stakeholders (Category Management, Account Management, Global Customer Success, Product, Legal, Marketing, Finance) to surface risks and keep teams focused on value delivery.

Measure & Learn: Define KPIs, run tests, publish ROI readouts, and feed insights into the Seller Success roadmap.

Drive Seller Success: Keep the eBay Live Seller at the core of our work and proactively increase seller effectiveness by boosting GMV, streaming hours, and other success metrics.

What You Will Bring

7–9+ years in strategy, operations, program delivery, or consulting roles managing complex cross‑functional programs.

Self‑starter with a proven track record of developing strategy, managing dependencies, influencing executive‑level leaders, and driving ownership across teams.

Strategic thinking skills to share insights, build cross‑functional frameworks, and construct investment cases.

Strong analytical skills and a history of translating insights into actionable strategic plans with innovative problem‑solving at scale.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including succinctly communicating complex problems to executive audiences.

A proactive, dynamic approach that thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have: MBA or similar, marketplace or live/creator commerce experience, and/or customer enablement experience within e‑commerce.

Compensation Base pay range:

$101,200 – $174,100 . Total compensation may include a target bonus and restricted stock units, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits such as 401(k) and paid time off. Specific details will be provided upon offer.
