About Kïdo International Preschool At Kïdo International Preschool, we bring together the best early childhood practices from around the world to create a truly unique learning experience for children and families. Our programs blend the creativity of Reggio Emilia with the independence of Montessori, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

We’re looking for passionate, bilingual leaders who are excited to inspire educators, support families, and help children thrive in an environment that celebrates culture, language, and innovation. If you’re ready to be part of a global preschool network that is reimagining early childhood education, we’d love to meet you.

Kïdo is a global network of innovative preschools with the vision of creating a truly modern early years environment. We are seeking a bilingual Center Director who will play a unique and exciting role supporting our Houston schools.

This is not a traditional single‑site position—our ideal candidate will thrive on variety and impact. You’ll have the opportunity to support across multiple Houston campuses, stepping in to provide coverage for Directors when they are out, assisting with training and onboarding, and lending your leadership wherever it’s most needed.

This position reports directly to the Regional Director for Houston and works closely in a peer‑to‑peer team with other Center Directors in the area.

Your Role As a Center Director, you’ll lead with vision, compassion, and operational excellence. You’ll be responsible for ensuring each school you support delivers the highest quality of care and education while fostering strong family partnerships. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively connect with our families and bilingual teaching teams.

What You’ll Do

Support Leadership: Step in to cover and support Center Directors, ensuring seamless school operations and building positive relationships with children, families, and the team at each location.

Collaborate: Partner closely with our Houston Center Directors as part of a peer leadership team.

Team Development: Train, mentor, and inspire teachers and leaders to deliver exceptional care and education.

Family Engagement: Build meaningful connections with families, ensuring their needs are understood and met.

Operational Excellence: Oversee compliance, health & safety, and licensing requirements.

Business & Enrollment: Support enrollment initiatives, marketing, and budget management.

Curriculum & Learning: Partner with our curriculum team to implement engaging, modern early childhood programs.

Future Leadership: Prepare for the opportunity to eventually take on your own school as a Director.

Why Join Kido? At Kido, we blend the creativity of Reggio Emilia, the independence of Montessori, and the innovation of modern design and technology to create magical spaces where children play, learn, and thrive. Since 2014, more than 15,000 families in six countries have entrusted us with their children’s education.

We are proud to be a Spanish Immersion preschool network where children spend most of their day learning and interacting in Spanish—celebrating culture, language, and global perspectives.
