Digital Asset Project Manager (Contingent) – Amazon
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.
The role will be responsible for developing scalable metadata frameworks, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and establishing enterprise‑grade governance practices that can support massive user growth. The role will instrumentally ensure that content in our Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and content infrastructure can be found, maintained, and automated throughout the content lifecycle during and after this significant scale‑up in users. The successful candidate will work closely with the Content Management, Production, and Creative Tech teams to validate system performance while ensuring content discoverability and accessibility remain efficient at scale.
Projects
Develop content library taxonomy, classification, and self‑service functionality; use AI‑generated descriptions and summaries; integrate into taxonomy; design and implement new systems.
Own taxonomy design and launch; re‑boot and launch new taxonomy; make suggestions; work with large corpus of data.
Required Expertise
Advanced proficiency in implementing metadata schemas and enterprise taxonomy with focus on scalability.
Minimum 3‑5 years hands‑on experience with large‑scale DAM, CMS, or MAM systems.
Demonstrated expertise in content lifecycle management and governance for enterprise systems.
Proven track record in metadata quality control and batch enhancement processes for large datasets.
Strong background in controlled vocabulary and taxonomy design for scalable systems.
Working knowledge of AI and automation tools for metadata management.
Experience in cross‑system data interoperability and standards implementation.
Experience with workflow optimization and documentation.
Contract Details Contract Length: 6 months Location: Seattle (onsite) Pay Range: $55–$60 per hour
