The Revenue Cycle Team Lead supports the Revenue Cycle team by overseeing day-to-day activities and processes. This position involves assisting with the supervision of the revenue cycle team, ensuring efficient billing, payment posting, and resolution of outstanding accounts receivable. This role is integral in maintaining our commitment to superior patient care and service quality. Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Key Duties and Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the Revenue Cycle Lead include, but are not limited to: Assist the Supervisor(s) with day-to-day activities and processes of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team Assist with onboarding and ongoing training, ensuring adherence to quality standards Support Supervisor(s) in maintaining a strong working knowledge of RCM processes Assist in monitoring and prioritizing workload within the department Monitor the productivity to ensure deadlines are met Support in development, coaching, and supervision of staff, ensuring their professional development Support Supervisor in ensuring timely and accurate posting of all manual and electronic transactions on a daily basis Identify and escalate any issues or discrepancies in billing and payment processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient revenue cycle operations Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Generate and analyze reports related to revenue cycle metrics and performance Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Supervisor and Revenue Cycle leadership team Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED Minimum 3-5 years business office, revenue cycle experience Healthcare experience in a large organization preferred Comprehensive understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes Strong computer skills/experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Proficiency in computer skills, with experience in NextGen and Amkai preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships with physicians and staff Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, exhibiting patience, composure, and cooperation in all interactions Adhere to safety, risk management, and confidentiality procedures, including compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize time efficiently, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and task completion Effectively manage multiple tasks and factors to achieve optimal results Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Maintain objectivity by distancing oneself from personal biases in various situations Adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events while maintaining a positive attitude Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing Provide constructive feedback to enhance performance Exhibit self-motivation, following guidelines and instructions meticulously, striving for excellence, and overcoming challenges with minimal supervision Demonstrate proficiency with relevant software and technology used in revenue cycle management Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to team goals Work Environment/Physical Demand
