Job Overview
The Admissions Officer supports all functions of junior and graduate admissions at the Georgetown University Law Center. The incumbent is responsible for recruitment, application processing, enrollment, decision selection processing, tracking and reporting, interviews, wait listing, scholarships, and admissions events and programs. The role maintains liaison with all organizations and individuals involved in the admissions process and communicates via print, email, and phone correspondence. Applicants are trained to advise parents and admission applicants about the educational plans and admissions process at the Law Center.
Responsibilities
Manage application material for wait‑list candidates and run wait‑list statistics.
Coordinate the Dean of Admissions group interview program with firms and campuses across the country.
Create marketing materials, advertising, booking space, and coordinate interview schedules.
Track scholarship requests, pull and send rosters, and identify scholarship interests.
Meet with prospective applicants and visitors at the Admissions Office, answer questions, provide information and materials for self‑guided tours.
Update social media sites and edit website content.
Build and run reports as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, quick adaptation to new technologies, and advanced administrative skills.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage simultaneous deadlines.
Preferred: Experience with Banner Student Information System and relevant CRM software.
Work Mode Designation Hybrid (3 days onsite per week). Work mode designations are reviewed regularly and may be updated.
Pay $20.16 ‑ $31.30 per hour.
