Work Schedule

Job Description Primary care responsibilities include prescribing contact lenses and glasses, and managing ocular disease. We expect optometrists to manage both anterior and posterior segment pathology, including but not limited to:

Treating corneal ulcers and uveitis

Managing red eye

Diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma

Removing foreign bodies

Diagnosing macular disease, retinal holes, and retinal detachments

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited school of optometry

State licensed or will be licensed to practice optometry in the state of practice
