Security Officer - Hospital Patrol

Baltimore, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Healthcare. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, and support hospital operations including vaccine distribution, morgue access, and challenging situations as needed.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, covering interior areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Document observations and report any unusual circumstances, hazards, or incidents per company and client guidelines.

Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal and site leadership while maintaining a professional presence.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and enforcing property rules as required.

Minimum Requirements

Vaccination in accordance with hospital requirements is required.

Ability to work in hospital morgue settings is required.

Ability to restrain individuals in accordance with hospital protocols is required.

Customer service experience preferred.

A valid Security Professional Guard Card preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Background investigation required.

Criminal history considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
