Director of E‑Commerce
to lead our DTC business and strategy.
The Role The
Director of E-Commerce
will own NAGHEDI’s DTC site performance and customer journey—leading everything from day‑to‑day operations to long‑term digital growth. This role is ideal for a data‑driven, fashion‑savvy marketer who can balance brand building with performance. Reporting to the CMO, you’ll oversee e‑commerce, acquisition, retention, and digital marketing to deliver a cohesive, high‑converting experience across all touchpoints in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and optimize all aspects of the e‑commerce site (Shopify Plus), including UX, merchandising, content, and seasonal/product launches
Own the e‑commerce P&L and drive revenue through a customer‑first, data‑led approach
Manage and execute the e‑commerce calendar: homepage refreshes, product drops, email/SMS timing, and promotional planning
Monitor key site metrics (traffic, AOV, conversion, ROAS, LTV, bounce) and develop clear, actionable insights
Manage relationships with developers and third‑party partners to deliver new features and resolve issues
Lead roadmap for website enhancements, tools, and integrations (e.g., reviews, loyalty, personalization, search)
Build and execute a roadmap for website enhancements and tools (e.g., reviews, loyalty, personalization, search)
Drive a test‑and‑learn culture: lead A/B testing and CRO efforts to continuously improve performance
Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies across paid social, search, email/SMS, influencer, and affiliate marketing
Own acquisition KPIs (CAC, ROAS, MER) and retention KPIs (LTV, repeat rate, churn)
Own the customer lifecycle strategy, from welcome flows to winbacks, via Klaviyo
Build segmentation strategies for personalized communication based on behavior, value, and purchase history
Partner with creative to develop email and SMS campaigns aligned with brand and commercial goals
Qualifications
5–7+ years of e‑commerce and digital marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Proven success scaling a DTC fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brand
Strong understanding of fashion consumers and the balance of brand vs. performance marketing
Fluent in Shopify Plus, GA4, Klaviyo, Gorgias, and NetSuite; bonus: Meta Ads, Google Ads
Analytical and creative thinker with a strong grasp of UX and conversion
Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
Location: New York, NY Salary: $165,000.00 – $213,000.00
