What You Will Do
Requirements capture and ASIC / FPGA digital architecture design using RTL, timing closure, verification, and system integration
Recommend new tools and practices for continuous improvement in the group’s ASIC / FPGA design flow
Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits
Provide technical leadership for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status
Qualifications You Must Have
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
RTL coding and simulation in VHDL or Verilog
Digital circuit architecture, design trade‑offs, timing analysis and closure
Testbench development for RTL verification using VHDL or SystemVerilog
Proficiency with ASIC and/or FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (e.g., Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado)
Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools such as Git or Subversion
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with chip‑level verification techniques and languages (e.g., constrained random, functional coverage, SystemVerilog)
ASIC / FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment
Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with a matrixed engineering team
Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability expertise
Experience with Unix, scripting, C/C++, and/or Perl
