A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. You’ll help our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

Required Fields Of Study: Accounting

Minimum Years Of Experience: 4 year(s)

Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in dealing with tax issues facing multinational US companies or publicly traded entities, especially in tax consulting and tax reporting and compliance.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a tax technical professional, researching business and industry trends to develop a point of view to leverage in assisting with proposals, considering opportunities across multiple lines of service.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with Automation & Digitization in a professional services environment, including but not limited to: innovating through new and existing technologies, working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools, pricing, client value and contract review to identify opportunities for new pricing options.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs, participating in client discussions and meetings actively, and communicating a broad range of firm services.

Executing corporate planning and compliance, tax accounting and financial reporting, including tax provision preparation, audit and review with the ability to utilize ASC 740 techniques; technical skills with tax tools and resources (e.g., Corptax, OneSource); research methods (Westlaw, RIA, CCH).

Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads, providing candid feedback, and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
