Our Fresno office is currently seeking a dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who thrives on meaningful work, values collaboration, and wants to make a lasting impact on communities throughout California. We are looking for individuals with 3+ years of experience in labor & employment with a passion for public entity representation. Duties & Responsibilities:
Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination. Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws. Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations. Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices on complex, high-impact cases. Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong interest and/or experience working with public agencies or school districts. Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.
