Job Description USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Architecture and Engineering Support Provides systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Required Certifications: FITSP-D or GDSA or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or GSEC or other DoD 8140 qualified certification. Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months

Location: Offutt, AFB

US Citizenship Required

Desired Qualifications

Certification in modeling, e.g. OCSMP (OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional)

Experience modeling complex systems for Department of Defense or other government organizations

Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP); or TOGAF Certified Architect; or ITIL 4 Managing Professional; or Lean Six Sigma Green belt; or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP); Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert; or Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate.

#SCITLS The likely salary range for this position is $178,500 - $241,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
