Technical Solutions Architect

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Architecture and Engineering Support: Provides systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer. Required Skills and Experience: Deep knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering as well as one or more of the following DevSecOps skill areas: Collaboration services and Business Applications, Cybersecurity & Risk Management, Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Management, Network & Communications Technologies, Storage & Mobility, and Virtualization & Cloud Technologies. Desired Skills and Experience: Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations, system decomposition via OMG frameworks, modeling systems via different perspectives, familiar with UML modeling tools, meeting with stakeholders, extending UML-based models, and generating/producing data and reports. What You'll Need to Succeed: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience. Required Certifications: DoD 8140 qualified certification. Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation - ITSM Certification within the first 9 months. Location: Offutt, AFB. US Citizenship Required.
