Salesforce Developer (Association Office) – YMCA of the USA. The role will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and integrations to support the Y's mission. Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 annually. The YMCA of Greater New York and its Association Office are seeking a Salesforce Developer who will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and integrations within Salesforce to support the YMCA of Greater New York’s mission. This role focuses on Apex, Lightning, automation, and integrations with AWS and Workday to deliver scalable solutions across multiple phases of Salesforce implementation. Benefits

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Five (5+) years of Salesforce development experience across multiple modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack). Strong understanding of IT products and services. Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Developer II a plus). Other Relevant Certifications include Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform App Builder. Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and integrations (APIs, middleware). Knowledge of Workday integrations with Salesforce (e.g., HR, Finance, or Grants workflows). Prior involvement in enterprise Salesforce migration, rebuild, or large-scale customization projects. Strong understanding of software development best practices, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset). Experience with issue triage, support workflows, and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira). Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) for Salesforce integrations and cloud-based solutions. Python experience is a plus. Essential Functions

Salesforce Development & Customization: Implement workflows, flows, and automation aligned with business requirements. Integrate Salesforce with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) to extend platform functionality. Design, build, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, LWCs, and integrations. Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint cycles and following the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions. Maintain and enhance Salesforce–Workday integrations (e.g., employee data synchronization, HR workflows, and payroll/finance reporting). Ensure consistency, scalability, and performance across all Salesforce solutions. Stay informed about Salesforce seasonal releases and incorporate new features into existing solutions. Technical Implementation & Roadmap Execution: Translate business needs into technical solutions, support phased rollout, and manage deployments. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

Collaborate with IT, QA, Database, and external consultants; document and share best practices. Post-Go-Live Support & Issue Management

Triage and resolve escalations, perform root-cause analysis, maintain code quality, and optimize system performance. Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with consultants and vendors to review solutions and ensure alignment with YMCA needs. Reporting & Communication

Provide Jira updates, contribute to leadership reporting, and support end-user communications.
