Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 Annually

The YMCA of Greater New York Association Office is seeking a Salesforce Developer who will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications and integrations within Salesforce to support the YMCA of Greater New York’s mission. This role focuses on Apex, Lightning, automation, and integrations with AWS and Workday to deliver scalable solutions across multiple phases of Salesforce implementation.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

Five (5+) years of Salesforce development experience across multiple modules (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack).

Strong understanding of IT products and services.

Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Developer II a plus). Other Relevant Certifications include Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform App Builder.

Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and integrations (APIs, middleware).

Knowledge of Workday integrations with Salesforce (e.g., HR, Finance, or Grants workflows).

Prior involvement in enterprise Salesforce migration, rebuild, or large-scale customization projects.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, version control (e.g., Git), and DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset).

Experience with issue triage, support workflows, and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira).

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway) for Salesforce integrations and cloud‑based solutions. Python experience is a plus.
