Overview
Aqua Blue Pools is seeking a Warranty Manager in our construction division to lead and oversee pool warranty projects, ensure quality construction, compliance with building codes and municipal requirements, and deliver superior customer service. Responsibilities
Put construction knowledge and processes to use on each project to ensure pools are repaired to the highest quality per building codes, municipality requirements, and Aqua Blue Pools’ standards, exceeding customer expectations at every step. Manage the repair of quality swimming pools within budget and in a timely manner. Maintain attention to detail and persistent follow-up. Create schedules and monitor actual costs. Communicate timelines, expectations, and completion of repairs with the client. Oversee subcontractors—relationships, pricing, and expectations. Coordinate interdepartmentally within the company. Approve invoices by subcontractors. Provide superior customer service. Review warranty reports and identify areas for improvement. Provide internal reporting and projections for inventory. Oversee and supervise project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met. Interpret and explain technical information to other professionals. Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems. Manage and motivate team members in the construction department. Ensure all equipment needed is in working order. Ensure budget costs are not exceeded. Ensure processes start and end on time and efficiently. Quality Control
Conduct site inspections as needed. Ensure each project is completed on time and within budget, or ahead of schedule. Read and understand construction documents and plans. Schedule and meet deadlines; strong time management and organizational skills are essential. Interact with team, construction crews, subcontractors, and Aqua Blue Pools customers—providing service, recommendations, and general guidance; ensure company guidelines and procedures are met and exceeded. Supervise the team to ensure quality of work and spot-check workmanship. Respond to requests in a timely, thorough, and professional manner. Train and supervise teams to meet or exceed quality pool construction standards. Accept on-call service as needed. Coach, mentor, train, and continually monitor the team. Qualifications
Three years’ experience as a construction manager or in a similar construction management role. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Able to manage a team of employees and multiple projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate and precise attention to detail. Goal-oriented and organized leadership. Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions. In-depth understanding of the construction industry. Self-motivated and self-directed. Bachelor’s degree minimum preferred. Computer Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel and Outlook. Use company-provided devices when working in the field (phone and tablet). Utilize company software for project management. Other
Organized with the ability to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules. Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations. Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers. Have a good driving record. Maintains the highest standards in customer service; ethical and professional conduct. Knowledge of pools is a plus. Ensure the team and construction crews are customer-ready at all times; inspire customer-focused behavior and drive positive first impressions when on site.
