An Atlanta law firm seeks a Transactional Legal Administrative Assistant to support multiple attorneys with their practice. The firm handles both litigation and transactional matters, and this role will focus on assisting attorneys in corporate, real estate, and other transactional practice areas. Ideal candidates will have some administrative experience, the ability to work as part of a team, and strong problem-solving skills.
Duties
Assist attorneys with document preparation, including drafting, editing, and proofreading contracts, agreements, and closing documents
Manage complex calendars for attorneys, including scheduling meetings, closings, and conference calls
Organize and maintain transactional files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Conduct basic research and compile due diligence materials as requested
Prepare closing binders and assist with post-closing documentation
Answer and screen calls, relay messages, and respond promptly to client needs via email or telephone
Coordinate with clients, title companies, and other parties to schedule meetings and ensure timely completion of tasks
Provide general administrative support, such as handling mail, making travel arrangements, and other tasks as needed
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a legal administrative role, preferably in a transactional practice
Law firm internship or administrative experience a plus!
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with document management systems is a plus
Compensation $65,000 per year
