Impact You Will Have As a Continuous Improvement Consultant, you will support and contribute to projects that help stakeholders achieve operational excellence and sustainable results. You will apply your expertise in improvement methodologies to diagnose, design, and implement solutions that address root causes of process gaps. You will assist in developing and disseminating continuous improvement best practices and thought leadership.
Your Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end delivery of improvement projects, from scoping and planning to execution and closure, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define engagements through charters with quantifiable outcomes, timelines, and communication plans.
Apply a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving using appropriate tools and techniques to analyze current state, identify root causes, design future state, and implement solutions.
Support the identification, development, and implementation of solutions that align with Blue Cross vision and strategies.
Collaborate with and support senior and principal consultants on larger continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.
Contribute to the continuous improvement consulting practice by sharing best practices, lessons learned, insights, and participating in internal initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
3 years of related professional experience.
Experience supporting and delivering improvement projects across industries with measurable results.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, conflict resolution, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Excellent project management and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills adaptable to various audiences.
Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and customer-focused, building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible, taking initiative and working independently.
High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Green Belt certification or training and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification or training.
Strong project management skills including proven experience leading end-to-end work.
Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior leaders, proficiency in PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable strategies aligned with business objectives.
Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Skilled in building partnerships across the organization to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps, including designing, building, and maintaining custom applications and integrating with other Microsoft tools.
Agile experience.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $67,200.00 - $89,100.00 - $111,000.00 Annual.
