Exciting Career Opportunity: Financial Center Consultant II at our EECU Arlington Financial Center! Are you passionate about helping others and creating meaningful financial solutions? EECU is looking for a dynamic Financial Center Consultant II who brings energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to every member interaction.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind exceptional service, helping members discover the right products and solutions for their financial goals. From welcoming members as the first point of contact to guiding them through new accounts and loan production, you will play a vital role in building lifelong relationships. This position will rotate within the branch, supporting members with products and services as needed.

The Financial Center Consultant II will conduct consultative selling sessions, perform financial profiles on members to ascertain relationship‑expansion opportunities, utilize indirect cross‑selling reports and internal opportunity reports as provided by management, and primarily spend time performing platform functions, opening new accounts, and loan production.
Key Qualifications
Proven goal achievement in loan production
Cross‑selling and referral skills are strongly preferred
Ability to deliver great member experiences in our environment and be invigorated by constant personal interaction, whether in the teller line or in a personal banker role
Providing a complete service and sales experience for members resulting in exceeding sales goals on a monthly basis
Perform a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer loans/accounts and solving operational issues while providing teller functions
Proactively initiate and support marketing initiatives within the branch
Responsible for building exceptional rapport with members and providing excellence in service
Responsible for lobby coverage that includes concierge for the branch, greets all members, answers calls, and directs members to appropriate employees
Compliance with applicable laws: evaluation of an applicant’s credit history will be conducted; only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions
Candidate Experience
One year minimum experience in a retail or financial environment that requires excellence in service while building exceptional rapport with members/customers
Retail operations knowledge (platform and teller operations preferred)
Strong communication skills for comfortable and effective member interactions
Enthusiasm and professionalism, with a high level of ownership and accountability
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks daily
Good listener who is approachable, can problem‑solve, and be empathetic
Relevant computer skills, solid math and written communication abilities
College degree preferred
Bilingual required – able to speak, read, and write Spanish
Availability during the hours of 8am–6:15pm Monday–Friday and 8:45am–1:15pm Saturdays
Compliance & Legal Responsible for compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA/FACTA, and Service Members Civil Relief. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
