Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and test critical systems such as Physical Access Control, CCTV, PSIM and other Integrated Electronic Security Systems.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate multiple physical security systems, ensuring cohesive operation across the enterprise.

Optimize system performance: apply patches and updates, monitor logs, proactively identify and address issues to minimize downtime.

Support accreditation of systems, maintain documentation, perform audits and address compliance‑related issues.

Create and manage autonomous workflows and scripts to improve operational efficiency across our physical security infrastructure.

Research and evaluate emerging technologies, perform testing, and implement updates and patches to maintain system integrity and security.

Manage servers, workstations, and databases; ensure systems run smoothly and securely.

Troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions supporting overall mission.

Provide Tier‑3 escalation support for complex system issues and customer support calls.

Train system users and support personnel.

Perform preventive maintenance actions: backups, error log reviews, database integrity checks, patching and STIG remediation.

Create and modify interface control documents, system security plans, configuration management documents, and contingency plans.

Qualifications

ACTIVE TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years progressive experience; or

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years progressive experience; or

Associates degree with 10+ years progressive experience; or

HS diploma or equivalent with 12+ years progressive experience.

At least 2 years of experience administering Physical Access Control Systems (e.g., DMP, Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Digitus, C‑Cure).

System administrator experience: triage and resolve system problems, analyze data, implement workstations, extensions.

Experience with Microsoft Server 2019/2022, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix) and database platforms (SQL, Oracle).

Experience with data migration, mapping between systems.

Advanced knowledge of Windows patching, vulnerability remediation, ATO processes and Active Directory.

Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with Visio, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
