Job Purpose Tennessee Tech’s College of Arts & Sciences is pleased to announce that applications are being accepted for a full-time, 9‑month, tenure‑track appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level beginning in August 2026.

Essential Functions
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including advanced courses related to human health or biotechnology.
Develop an extramurally funded research program.
Advising undergraduate and graduate students.
Direct thesis and dissertation research for M.S. and Ph.D. students.
Contribute to shaping and growing biological/molecular biotechnology research and education in the department.
Engage in service activities that support the college and university mission.
Minimum Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. from an accredited institution in an area applicable to biomedical and molecular biotechnology.
Preferred Qualifications
Track record of extramural funding.
Demonstrated ability to teach advanced courses related to human health or biotechnology.
Strong record of research accomplishment.
Commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
Prior administrative or leadership experience.
Compensation and Benefits Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Full‑time, nine‑month, tenure‑track position to begin August 1, 2026.
Benefits include one sick leave day per month, thirteen university holidays, medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401(k), and educational benefits.
Deferred income and benefits accrue over 12 months.
