A growth oriented and highly reputable client in the Charlotte market, is hiring for a Trusts and Estates Attorney, with a passion for helping clients protect their legacies. They are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families in Charlotte and nationally. Key Responsibilities
Draft and review complex estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Advise clients on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, charitable planning, and business succession. Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and fiduciaries to develop comprehensive estate plans. Stay current on federal and state tax laws affecting estates and trusts. Provide guidance on probate and trust administration matters. Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the North Carolina state bar (or ability to waive in). LLM in Taxation preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in trusts and estates transactional/drafting work. Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws.
