Revit preferred but not required

SKM software – Arc Flash studies experience to assess risk
Day to Day As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will manage a team of 2–5 engineering counterparts while overseeing your own projects and workload. You will direct junior engineers, serve as the Engineer of Record, and ensure all designs meet building codes and safety standards. The role involves approximately 10‑15% travel for day trips or occasional overnight stays, primarily in the Midwest but with projects across the country. All travel expenses, including meals and transportation, are covered. You will work on government‑funded projects that require strict compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Primary Duties
Handle own projects, managing workload and tasks
Maintain professionalism: timeliness, quality work
Lead 2–5 direct junior electrical engineers
Manage internal budget for projects
Work on government‑funded projects such as post office factories, fire stations, courthouses, military facilities, electric vehicle charging stations, water treatment plants, vehicle maintenance facilities, etc.
Stamping projects to verify drawings meet building guidelines and safety standards
