As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will manage a team of 2-5 electrical engineers while handling your own projects and workload. This includes directing junior engineers and serving as the Engineer of Record, ensuring all designs meet building codes and safety standards. The role involves approximately 10-15% travel for day trips or occasional overnight stays, primarily in the Midwest but with projects across the country. All travel expenses, including meals and transportation, are covered. You will work on government-funded projects, requiring strict compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This person can sit in Jacksonville, FL - Columbus, Oh - Pittsburg, PA - or Chicago, IL.

Required Skills & Experience

Can sit in Jacksonville, FL - Columbus, Oh - Pittsburg, PA - Chicago, IL

P.E License 10+ years of experience in electrical design experience within facilities (alarms, electrical, EV, etc.) Experienced with building design systems Revit preferred but not required Experience managing or leading a team Able to travel 10-15% of the time across the country Day trip or overnight - travel, meals, stay paid for

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses: • Experience acting as an EOR (Engineer of Record) SKM software - Arc Flash studies experience to assess risk
