Overview
Collision Parts Specialist - Tonkin Parts Center at Gee Automotive Companies. This role focuses on managing inbound sales calls and electronic orders for OEM collision parts, building long-term relationships with shop customers, and delivering accurate parts to professional customers in the collision industry. Responsibilities
Assist Wholesale Customers: provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to wholesale clients to obtain required parts or accessories for vehicle repairs. Locate or order parts as needed to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders. Prepare and process invoices for parts for a customer base of over 4,000. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide accurate ETAs to customers. Process special order parts requests and follow up on back-ordered items. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale customers to foster loyalty and repeat business. Develop understanding of automotive parts and their applications; stay updated with industry trends and product developments. Provide technical guidance to customers in selecting the right parts and identify upsell opportunities to increase revenue. Qualifications
Prior Experience: Experience in a new car dealership parts department, or collision center parts department. Customer Service Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and ordering platforms (CCC, OPS Trax, OEC- Collision Link, Parts Trader). Attention to Detail: Accuracy in processing orders. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team. High School Diploma or Equivalent; further certifications advantageous. Adaptability and Willingness to Learn. Must be 18 years or older with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license; able to pass a criminal background check. Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Training wage: Up to 6 months at $4,200.00 - $5,000.00 (DOE) per month while learning; then Base Salary + Commission with potential for substantial earnings.
