Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Foxconn, San Jose (Regular Shift)
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations and engineering) representing the Quality function.
Conduct manufacturing quality audits and manage quality KPIs.
Apply problem‑solving methodologies (Ishikawa, FMEA, SCAR, 5‑Why, 8D, Pareto, MIL…) for root‑cause failure analysis and fault isolation of complex hardware systems.
Define and implement quality SOPs, PCNs, work instructions, and coordinate with Contract Manufacturers (CM) during PDP build phases.
Ensure compliance with ESD standards (ANSI S20.20), ISO9001 certification, and overall Quality Management System processes.
Communicate findings and concisely report to cross‑functional team and management.
Qualifications
BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
3–5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in compute systems/servers/consumer electronics/hardware manufacturing.
Experience with Contract Manufacturers and PDP build phases.
Proficiency with Quality KPIs and manufacturing quality audits.
5+ years of experience with problem‑solving methodologies and root‑cause analysis.
Knowledge of ESD standards (ANSI S20.20) and ISO9001 certification.
Experience defining quality SOPs, PCNs, work instructions.
ASQ CQE certification and Six Sigma preferred.
Basic project management skills.
Proficiency in Office tools and data analysis tools (JMP, R, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, with full medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, paid time off, and other standard benefits.
