The Launch Integration Specialist (LIS) provides mission management and integration support to the OSL mission team in all phases of planning and execution of satellite‑to‑launch vehicle integration for OSL assigned missions. The LIS oversees end‑to‑end mission integration planning, integrated schedule development, range coordination, readiness review preparation, technical procedures, anomaly resolution, integration of mission requirements into government or commercial infrastructure, mission support, MATS integration panel support, and lessons learned adjudication.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain program plans, perform launch vehicle mission trade studies, mission analysis, and define mission unique and derived requirements.

Monitor and verify all launch vehicle and satellite interface requirements, including processing, transportation, and fueling.

Coordinate closely with SV Program, LV Program, OSL, Range, and other contractors and organizations.

Provide space‑vehicle to launch‑vehicle integration expertise and manifesting.

Support launch mission management interface across the launch enterprise, agencies, and contractors.

Generate reports and presentations for internal and external reviews.

Manage coordination for planning, requirements, and readiness meetings.

Review launch mission integration products to assure quality and deliver complete, coordinated outputs.

Assist in the development of launch and mission integration requirements for OSL CBJB and IPBS.

Attend launch scheduling/manifest meetings and support each OSL launch campaign through integration, documentation, and validation of mission infrastructure and services.

Provide insights on SV issues that may affect the LV/SV interface or launch infrastructure.

Offer modeling and simulation support, developing technical scenarios and data analysis.

Update and communicate OSL capabilities baseline, reference guides, and outreach materials.

Develop schedules, manifests, and mission models, evaluating impacts and alternatives.

Identify and track integration risks and support mitigation activities.

Engage early in mission integration for new and emerging programs.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of United States Space Force (USSF) National Security Space Launch (NSSL) launch services and launch vehicle architecture.

Experience with satellite‑vehicle launch interfaces, launch base transport, fueling, processing, and day‑of‑launch requirements.

Proficiency in mission analysis, schedule development, and integrated integration processes.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing diverse audiences.

Ability to support cross‑program integration and provide launch expertise across mission teams.

Experience leading SV/LV mission integration from planning through execution.

Knowledge of NRO, OSL, and external contract support for SV and LV development, integration, and launch.

Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph (preferred).

Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience in space launch systems; Level‑I, Level‑II, or Level‑III qualifications may be acceptable depending on the level applied for.

Security clearance required: Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
