VTG is seeking a Launch Integration Specialist in Los Angeles, CA. What will you do?

Launch Integration Specialist (LIS) Overview: The LIS provides mission management and integration support throughout all phases of satellite-to-launch vehicle integration for OSL-assigned missions. Responsibilities include mission planning, schedule development, range coordination, readiness reviews, technical procedures, anomaly resolution, and lessons learned adjudication. LIS Support Responsibilities Include: Developing and maintaining program plans, including launch mission trade studies and analysis. Developing mission-specific requirements and identifying derived requirements. Monitoring and verifying all interface requirements for launch and satellite vehicles, including processing, transportation, and fueling. Understanding satellite vehicle, launch vehicle, and related contracts to support launch operations. Coordinating with various mission stakeholders including the SV Program, contractors, and support organizations. Familiarity with USSF NSSL services, launch vehicle architecture, and components. LIS Tasks Include: Providing space vehicle to launch vehicle integration and launch expertise. Managing launch mission processes and serving as the interface with internal and external teams. Generating reports and presentations for reviews. Coordinating planning, requirements, and readiness meetings. Reviewing integration products for quality and completeness. Supporting development of launch and mission documentation. Interfacing with mission personnel and providing insights on SV issues. Supporting modeling, simulation, and scenario development. Updating capabilities baselines, processes, and outreach efforts. Developing schedules, manifests, and impact assessments. Identifying and tracking risks, supporting mitigation activities. Engaging early in new programs and providing risk assessments. Qualifications

Requires active TS/SCI with Poly. Experience levels are substituted as follows: 5 years = Associates, 10 years = Bachelors, 15 years = Masters. Level-II LIS:

Intermediate professional with knowledge of space launch systems, capable of developing briefings and managing launch activities. Must have General Level II (G2) certification; desired: Technical Level II (T2). Knowledge of government space launch policy, satellite launch interfaces, and mission integration. Level-III LIS:

Senior professional with comprehensive knowledge, capable of strategic planning and leading mission integration. Must have General Level III (G3) certification; desired: Technical Level III (T3). Proven ability to establish relationships, provide risk assessments, and lead complex integration processes. Pay Range

Estimated starting pay is $150,000 - $210,000 annually, with considerations for experience, education, and market factors.
