As the first point of contact, you will provide clerical expertise to ensure patients receive seamless, high‑quality care. Your responsibilities include managing front‑office tasks, scheduling, insurance verification, documentation, financial transactions, and other duties as needed while adhering to the Code of Conduct and HCA values. Responsibilities
Serve as the receptionist: answer phones, greet patients, and communicate with providers. Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments. Check patients in and accurately document registration. Verify insurance and patient demographics. File and retrieve medical records/files. Copy and fax documents. Collect co‑pays, cash, and manage credit card authorizations. Enter charges and payments, balancing the day’s totals in the computer system. Practice and adhere to all Physician Services policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Co‑ordinate continuity of patient care with external healthcare organizations; participate in team data collection, health outcomes reporting, audits, and programmatic evaluation for the Patient‑Centered Medical Home. Qualifications & Experience
Less than one year of experience required; one to three years strongly preferred. Knowledge of basic office equipment such as copier, fax machine, and computer. Strong customer‑relations skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and confidentiality skills. Benefits
