Sumo Medical Staffing is actively recruiting an experienced Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a flexible weekend call schedule and competitive compensation.
Position Details:
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital (189 beds)
- Department: Level 4 Trauma Center
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Population : Adults (18+)
- Support Staff: No additional support for call coverage
- Average Patient Volume:
- Friday: 1-2 patients
- Saturday & Sunday: 5-10 consults/day
- Occasional OR procedures (e.g., stents, stones, clot evacuation)
- Must be proficient in all general urology procedures
Schedule:
- Call Coverage: Friday 7:00 AM - Monday 7:00 AM
- Frequency: 1 weekend per month (flexible scheduling available)
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Board Certified by ABU or AOBU
- Active WV DEA
- BLS and ACLS certifications
