Lead Flight T&E Advisor (TOP SECRET + SSBI CLEARANCE)

to join the team at

in the National Capital Region (Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling). The successful candidate will provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) Program Management support to the Advanced Sensors Technologies (AST) Program Office (PO) for the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) and Tactical Airborne Sensor (TAS). Responsibilities

Provide expert assistance to the AST throughout the Operational Testing (OT) process, including participating in OT planning and progress meetings, offering recommendations for process improvements to the Government, preparing independent assessments and analyses of OT progress for major testing events, highlighting deficiencies and operational impacts, and providing mitigation strategies as needed. Assist with management of acceptance testing efforts. Provide timely and accurate test-program status updates. Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (e.g., System Readiness Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review), program management and Test Readiness Reviews. Support technical interchanges to achieve T&E objectives. Review technical aspects of proposals related to T&E missions and assess alignment between contract requirements and the Prime Contractor's proposal. Manage and verify the Prime's performance to contract specifications and requirements, and determine success in meeting system-level T&E deliverables. Demonstrate effective oral/written communication and strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment. Produce and/or review DoD acquisition T&E products (e.g., Cost and Requirements Document, Capabilities Production Document, Capabilities Development Document, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, etc.). Basic Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret/SSBI. Must have completed an SSBI within the past six years or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program. Education & Experience: BS/BA and 10 years of experience required. Demonstrated ability to work with integrated teams of military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Experience in a DoD security environment. Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate, integrate and deliver radar and sensor technologies. Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience operating aircraft, airborne systems, or weapon systems. Operational experience with DoD active-duty customers. Experience with Advanced Sensor Technologies Program Office. BS/BA degree in a technical discipline is preferred but not required. Details

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week. Compensation: $111,000 - $165,000. Salary range reflects national average; offered rate depends on location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and internal parity.
