Teamcenter Plm Lead - Onsite
We are currently seeking a teamcenter plm lead to join our team in parsippany, new jersey (us-nj), united states (us). approximately 1 hour east of new york. job summary we are seeking a highly skilled senior consultant plm (teamcenter) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of siemens teamcenter solutions for enterprise-scale engineering and manufacturing environments. the role requires a deep understanding of plm concepts, hands-on experience with teamcenter architecture and customization, and the ability to guide both technical and business teams through digital engineering transformation initiatives. key responsibilities lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of siemens teamcenter plm solutions across global engineering teams. translate complex business requirements into scalable plm configurations and technical designs. oversee teamcenter customization and integration with cad (nx, catia, solidworks) and erp (sap or equivalent) systems. design and implement bom management, change management, workflow automation, and access control modules. manage data migration activities from legacy plm or pdm systems. define and enforce plm governance standards, configuration management policies, and process best practices. provide technical leadership to project teams, review deliverables, and ensure quality and compliance. conduct training sessions and user adoption programs to maximize plm system utilization. collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, it, manufacturing, quality) to ensure seamless integration of plm processes. participate in teamcenter upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex issues. required skills & experience bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / computer science engineering or equivalent. 812 years of experience in plm solution design and deployment, with at least 5 years focused on siemens teamcenter. strong expertise in teamcenter modules such as product structure, change management, workflow designer, classification, and access management. proficiency in bmide, itk, rac customization, awc configuration, and server-side scripting (java, c++, or tcl). proven experience in teamcenter-cad integrations and erp (sap) interfaces. deep understanding of engineering data management, configuration control, and product lifecycle processes. experience leading project teams, mentoring junior consultants, and managing client relationships. excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills must be a us citizen
