Cloud Architect
Peraton is seeking a Cloud Architect to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of IT related experience with a BS degree. Degree must be in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline. 5 additional years of related IT experience may be substituted for a BS degree, totaling 15 years of IT related experience. Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required. Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (or above) certification is required. Understanding the architecture and connectivity options for the various Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) (Amazon, Azure, and Oracle) and TS, S, and U networks (Commercial and Gov't clouds) Understanding carrier neutral datacenters for connectivity and transport options Experience in Express Route/VPN/Gateway, Fast Connect, Direct Connect/Transit Gateway Salary Range Estimate: The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees. Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
