Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role involves hands-on responsibilities, including laptop imaging, inventory management, and device setup. Ideal candidates will have a methodical approach to their work and experience with desktop hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and image laptops following established protocols and processes.
Set up and configure desktop workstations for users, ensuring all required software is installed.
Maintain accurate inventory and labeling of devices to ensure proper tracking.
Collaborate with team members to ensure devices are ready for deployment.
Troubleshoot any technical issues related to hardware or imaging processes.
Verify device functionality post-setup to ensure readiness for use.
Utilize tools like Active Directory to manage and configure systems.
Follow detailed instructions and workflows in an assembly-line style environment.
Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures during device setup.
Provide updates and documentation on completed tasks as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support and workstation setup.
Proficiency in imaging laptops and configuring desktop hardware.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Windows 10.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of inventory management and device tracking processes.
Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
