Organization & Team Overview Comcast's Technology & Product organization designs, develops, and supports innovative products and services that bring broadband, wireless, video, and voice experiences to residential and business customers throughout the world, with more than 57 million customer relationships across the U.S. and Europe. The team also works to ensure the performance of our network in the U.S., including speeds and capacity that customers rely on to stay connected to what matters most, and builds and operations mission-critical systems, including those that monitor our network and its associated cloud infrastructure. Cyber Security Reliability Engineering (CSRE) is a globally distributed team that aligns people, processes, and technology to build a highly available and reliable operating environment for security products. Role Description Are you passionate about cyber security? Do you like big challenges and working in a highly motivated team environment? As a Cyber Security Engineering Co-op on the CSRE team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing strategies that ensure critical security products are always operational. In your role, you will gather and analyze documentation to validate how security products ensure business continuity in the event of a disruption. Document resiliency gaps for security products and help design and implement improvements. Track and drive issue resolution using reporting capabilities. You'll work with product owners and engineering teams to roll out resiliency strategies for security products. Success in this role is characterized by data analysis and project management skills. Job Responsibilities Gather and analyze business continuity documentation for security products. Participate in resiliency exercises to help document opportunities for improvement. Document resiliency gaps and help design and implement improvements to improve resiliency. Partner with product owners and engineering teams to drive issue reporting and resolution. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Skills Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Knowledge of the different layers in the OSI model and basics of networking components. Initial exposure to key standards related to resiliency (e.g., NIST SP 800 series). Project management skills, including initial understanding of Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Majors: Computing Security and Technology, Information Systems. Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track. Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026. Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs. Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting. Skills Accountability, Communication, Professional Etiquette, Relationship Building, Resilience, Teamwork Compensation Base Pay: $32.00 Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
