Senior Comsec Engineer

Peraton is seeking a senior COMSEC Engineer to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required. Bachelor's degree in system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline and 14 years of IT related experience is required. Five (5) years of additional IT related experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of COMSEC IRT patching and IP sec. Experience engineering, troubleshooting, and implementing crypto solutions meeting customer requirements. DOD 8570 baseline IAT Level 2 certification is required (i.e. Security+). Ability to provide highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems and manage work as defined by customer. Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
