Seeking an OB/GYN for an outpatient locum opportunity in the Rancho Mission Viejo, CA area. Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Coverage Need: Maternity leave (minimum 3 months) with potential extension Schedule: 4 days/week preferred, can accommodate 5 days/week if needed Clinic hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM 5:00 PM No call, no inpatient responsibilities; 100% outpatient LOCALS strongly preferred Locums-to-perm option available Common Procedures/Case Types: Abscess or cyst drainage/aspiration, Breast and pelvic exams, Cervical biopsies, colposcopy, Chemical/electrocautery of lesions, Cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, Endometrial ablation and biopsies, Epidermal cyst removal (Bartholin s Gland), Focused abdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds, Hormone replacement therapy, IUD and subdermal contraceptive insertions/removals, Pap tests, well-woman exams. LEEP, IV insertion, subcutaneous anesthesia CA licensed (or in process) Comfortable with full scope of listed outpatient GYN procedures Available for at least 3-month assignment Interested in locums-to-perm transition (optional) Well-supported office with standard OB/GYN resources Rate: 150/hr, malpractice and mileage covered Please refer to Job ID # 5906
