The Impact You Will Have In This Role Being a member of the Clearing & Securities Services team, the Product Owner is responsible for translating the product vision into squad deliverables to achieve the product strategy, aligned with maximizing value to the client. This is done through managing scope and product backlog in collaboration with the squad, Product Manager, clients (internal/external) and key partners. Your Primary Responsibilities - Translates the Fixed Income's product vision into squad deliverables and release plans - Independently lead multiple project teams across assigned projects, through the life cycle from initiation to closing - Collaborate across all collaborators groups to elicit business requirements, develop and document project plans, and identify resource requirements - Creates and refines the backlog of user stories with the squad to provide the right level of detail at the right time to achieve definition of ready (preparation for development) - Accepts or rejects backlog items, according to acceptance criteria, during the sprint - Brings the voice of the client (external/internal) into the squad - Incorporates and prioritizes technical work, as required, to deliver on release objectives - Leads the delivery team (Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Development and QA Analysts) to create solutions that meet business needs in an Agile setting (i.e., scrum ceremonies, collocated team, etc.) - Reviews enhancement requests and bugs to determine solutions that do not negatively impact other product features. - Analyzes regulations and leads design walkthroughs, demos and functionality feedback sessions with internal and external partners. - Determines and produces just-enough documentation for the functionality being delivered in iterations, but also compiles a running specification that serves as a functional specification for the final deliverable. - Partners with internal collaborators such as Integration and Documentation on operational readiness activities by sharing subject matter expertise on features and functions and uncovering operational requirements. - Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; raises appropriately Qualifications - Minimum of 6 years of related experience - Bachelor\'s degree preferred or equivalent experience Talents Needed For Success - Self-starter with a solid ability to prioritize, own and drive projects, and quickly learn new concepts and frameworks - Prior experience communicating with all partners (technology, clients, finance, integration, operations teams) to engage in discussion, create user stories, and consistently deliver the right products and solutions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities - Knowledge of financial services operations and technology; experience in banking, capital markets, or financial operations is a plus - Solid understanding of data management processes and standard methodologies Location: Tampa, FL. Salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary determined based on role, location, experience, and skills. Benefits
