Product Management Associate Director - Derivatives at DTCC
The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking a Product Management Associate Director for Derivatives. This role involves translating the product vision into squad results to achieve the product strategy and delivering value to clients, working with the Product Manager, clients (internal/external), and key team members. Responsibilities
Drives product vision and strategy Represents the voice of the client (external/internal) within the squad and the voice of the squad to the organization Analyze and identify market opportunities to expand or build products Partner with customers to understand applicable regulation and develop requirements that drive regulatory-compliant solutions Deliver and document business requirements in a clear and consistent manner through user stories in JIRA and other tools Collaborate with the team to bring new product functionality/service to market and manage the full launch process Lead external working groups and other relevant subject-matter groups Translate the vision and roadmap into squad deliverables and release plans Act as Product Owner in an Agile squad and partner with internal teams for prioritization and implementation of new features, ensuring changes are reviewed, feedback incorporated, and impacts communicated Cultivate relationships with critical team members to maintain alignment with strategic goals Evaluate issues, risks, and dependencies through to resolution Improve delivered value by evaluating implementation alternatives considering cost, schedule, and risk Anticipate market/user needs and help cultivate solutions for client issues Plan and coordinate multiple demands and priorities effectively Assist in product training efforts for internal and external customers, including documentation and FAQs Be a subject matter expert in an area of the product and attend client meetings as needed Identify potential risks to project objectives and escalate as needed; mitigate risk by following procedures and upholding ethical behavior Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of related experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Knowledge of financial services and experience in Derivatives Reporting Knowledge of new technologies (Cloud, AI, etc.) Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology, including defining a minimal viable product, and exposure to other software development methodologies Talents Needed For Success
