Job Summary:
As a Proposal Analyst in the Estimating Organization, you will develop, analyze, and complete labor proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, utilize estimating tools, and ensure compliance with FAR and internal requirements.
What You Will Do
Be responsible for the development, analysis, and completion of labor proposals.
Work with functions across the company to understand and evaluate labor and direct costs.
Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools.
Lead the development of recurring operations labor basis estimates, tracking progress and validating actuals.
Ensure proposals comply with all FAR and internal requirements.
Assess, develop, and implement solutions leading to a thorough touch labor estimate.
Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness of labor estimates.
Qualifications You Must Have
University degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Teamwork ability with peers and management.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a schedule‑driven environment.
Knowledge of proposal development, price buildup, and estimating processes.
Knowledge of federal proposal regulations including FAR, DFAR, and TINA.
