Compost collector/driver

Filthy Organics, LLC is dedicated to making it easy for individuals and businesses to divert food waste and other compostable materials from landfills to our compost piles. We collect waste and convert it into nutrient‑rich compost, promoting safe and sustainable soil amendment. Our team collaborates with clients to create customized collection plans, including container selection and collection frequency. Additionally, we provide signage and training to ensure maximum participation from our partners.

Role Description This is a part‑time, on‑site role for a Compost Collector/Driver located in Deerfield Beach, FL. The Compost Collector/Driver will be responsible for collecting compostable waste from clients, driving a truck to transport the waste, and ensuring timely and accurate compost collection. Day‑to‑day tasks include maintaining the vehicle, managing collection schedules, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Qualifications

Truck driving and non‑CDL valid and clean driver’s license

Proficient communication and customer service skills

Ability to handle physical tasks and maintain a clean driving record

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Experience with waste management or composting is a plus

High school diploma or equivalent

Must like to work outdoors year round in South Florida
