Blue Hour Studios, headquartered in New York and Los Angeles, is a social‑first content agency and affiliate of Horizon Media. What You’ll Do
Leverage cultural insights and social trends to ideate and develop social‑first campaigns for paid and organic social, influencer content, media partnerships and more.
Produce engaging, client‑ready concept decks that translate brand objectives into culturally relevant creative concepts aligned with client KPIs.
Contribute to creative work from idea through pitch and delivery, ensuring concepts match client guidelines and social media strategy.
Collaborate with the Sr. Creative and other senior members, working across multiple accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
Manage multiple client briefs and deliverables simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Lead brainstorming sessions for clients and new business opportunities.
Write and brief creators and influencers, providing detailed guidelines and actionable feedback on their concepts and content.
Produce social assets—short‑form and long‑form videos, statics and photography—and be willing to feature yourself in content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Twitch, Snapchat, etc.
Mentor and manage junior employees, ensuring creative quality and adherence to client expectations and deadlines.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of social platforms, their algorithms, audience behaviours and the broader digital marketing ecosystem.
Help evolve Blue Hour Studios’ style, voice and brand leadership in the industry.
Maintain a collaborative, empathetic relationship with clients and internal teams, finding smart solutions to support your creative vision.
Balance basic administrative tasks with creative execution.
Approach work with curiosity, continuous learning, openness to new ideas and respectful collaboration.
Preferred Skills & Experience
1–3 years of agency, brand or social media experience through internships, fellowships or projects.
Portfolio featuring a social‑first approach to branded content, including paid and influencer work.
Client presenter and storyteller, translating multi‑format, social‑first work to clients with clarity.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) and presentation tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote).
Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability and a collaborative nature.
Adaptable and proactive, staying ahead of trends and social media shifts.
Physical Activity and Work Environment This position involves light physical activity related to photo and video production, such as lifting tripods, gear, props or assisting production equipment.
Salary Range $64,350.00 – $90,000.00
