At Pyramid Healthcare Mountaineer Inpatient in Kearneysville, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and we currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Position Details
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Assist individuals in establishing necessary connections with available supports in the community that will facilitate initiation and on‑going engagement in the recovery process.
Assists individuals in developing and solidifying long‑term recovery supports, and providing services before, during, and following an individual’s engagement in the treatment continuum.
Work with the individual’s family, service and treatment providers, other programs, and community supports to assist in achievement of these goals.
Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues and other staff.
Performs individual and process group therapy sessions under the direction of the treatment supervisor including preparing materials for sessions.
Manages client files and attends treatment team meetings with psychiatrist and staff.
Communicates with referral sources and company representatives.
Participates in community meetings with clients.
Completes family sessions as necessary.
Prepares utilization reviews with appropriate funding sources as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Licensure, & Experience
REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelors degree in a human services or related field
Recommended: One year of work experience in a substance abuse treatment facility and/or direct client support.
