Business Development Manager - Data Recruitment At Harnham, we’ve been specialists in Data & AI recruitment for nearly two decades. With a global reputation and deep expertise in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world, we’re now looking for a Client Account Manager to join our Phoenix office and lead the charge on client partnerships, account growth, and new business acquisition.

This role is client‑facing and focused entirely on building new client relationships, winning new business, and expanding existing accounts across the Data & Analytics space.

Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

The Opportunity

This is a commercial, sales‑focused role ideal for someone who loves the client and business development side of recruitment. You’ll take full ownership of building out your patch, proactively approaching new prospects, pitching Harnham’s services, and winning new roles.

You’ll also nurture and expand existing client relationships, identifying further opportunities, ensuring exceptional service, and building long‑term partnerships.

What You’ll Be Doing

Driving business development: identifying, pitching, and onboarding new clients

Building and managing ongoing client relationships to ensure repeat business

Negotiating terms and driving cross‑sell/up‑sell opportunities

Creating and executing strategic account plans to maximise revenue

Becoming a key part of our Phoenix office growth journey

Who We’re Looking For

Experienced recruiter or sales professional with a strong client‑facing track record

Proven ability to win new business and drive growth in a competitive market

Natural relationship‑builder who can think commercially and act strategically

Excellent communicator, confident negotiator, and results‑driven operator

Experience in the data, analytics, or wider tech space is a plus, but not essential
