Major Food Group is seeking Hosts to join our team at Parm Copley. Since the original location of Parm opened in New York City’s Little Italy in 2011, the restaurant’s takes on Italian-American soul food have reached iconic status. From the prized Chicken Parm to the homemade meatballs to the Rigatoni Carbone, the menu is inspired by the cooking of Michelin‑Starred chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi. The goal is to make the best versions of these recognizable dishes while remaining faithful to their history—and to serve them in a fun, familial environment.

Base pay range $16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catches and soups.

Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.

Takes names on a waiting list.

Runs the floor plan board.

Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.

Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.

Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at the host area.

Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.

Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.

Performs other duties as directed.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required.

Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.

Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.

Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).

Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.

Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.

Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
