Responsibilities

Facilitation of Program Earned Value in compliance to CPR/IPMR data reporting requirements; Leading preparation of earned value deliverables ensuring compliance, timeliness and accuracy

Managing baseline efforts, and lead efforts for Initial Baseline Reviews (IBR’s) with customers

Leading the EAC process to include earned value analysis, hands-on EAC updates, and revisions

Leading the monthly financial forecasting process to include analysis and recommendations on awards, sales, operating margin, and cash

Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts

Internal and External support of compliance audits

Support pricing, proposal activities and contract negotiations

Cash Management to ensure timely invoicing and collections

Collaborating with cross-functional partners including Operations, Engineering and Program Management

Balancing multiple projects and prioritize

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts

Promote the professional development of the business management workforce, fostering a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around ethics and integrity, employee engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth, and continuous improvement

Maintain the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics

Basic Qualifications

Level 4 - Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control; OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience

Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Expertise with Microsoft Office suite

Experience with Earned Value and financial reporting on a variety of contract types

Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication skills oral and written

Strong analysis and critical thinking skills

Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance

Ability to communicate financial/program information efficiently within a matrix organization

Experience with SPFP financial forecasting system & COBRA earned value management system

Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines and ONE NG System Description

Experience with company procedures for Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan development

Working knowledge of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) processes and procedures

Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry

Active DOD or ability/willingness to obtain a Secret Clearance

Salary and benefits: Primary Level Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00. This range is a general guideline. Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses may be awarded based on individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off for vacation and/or personal business.
